At the
DACH FORUM 2025, held from 17 to 18 January 2025 at the Targi Kielce Exhibition & Congress Centre, FOS introduced the new WindCHECK calculation tool in collaboration with Meyer-Holsen. Specifically designed to meet the requirements of the Polish roofing market, this tool enables quick and precise calculations for storm protection on pitched roofs. It takes into account Polish wind zones, roof shapes, slopes, and optional roof penetrations, adhering to standards set by EN 1991-1-4 and the Polish roofing association's national guidelines. The generated reports can be added to construction documentation, helping roofing businesses efficiently plan compliant storm protection measures.
Collaboration and Integration
At a shared stand with Meyer-Holsen and a Polish roofing specialist, the strong partnership between the companies was clearly showcased. The WindCHECK tool is fully integrated into Meyer-Holsen’s Polish website and offers a user-friendly solution for planning and implementing building-specific wind uplift protection for pitched roofs. It features dynamically linked live data for all available FOS clips.
Feedback and Industry Interest
The DACH FORUM 2025 saw high attendance, with nearly 200 European exhibitors and thousands of professional visitors. The exhibition provided a valuable platform for networking with leading manufacturers and industry experts. The significant interest among roofers in the WindCHECK tool highlights its potential to enhance the Polish market in the area of wind uplift protection.
With the successful launch of the tool and the positive feedback received at the exhibition, FOS has taken another important step towards establishing innovative storm protection solutions in the Polish market.
