The European standard DIN EN 14437 specifies test methods for determining the uplift resistance of roof materials which are not fastened or are mechanically secured to the substructure. The measured values of the resistance only apply to each tested combination of clip & tile & batten. FOS® carries out the required test procedures on the workshop racks in the application technology department and uses these values in the FOS WindCHECK®.
